Bio: I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I moved to the United States when 22. Lived in New York City and California before moving to Las Vegas. I have two beautiful daughters and I love living in the United States.
Age: 48
Why I joined the 52 Peak Club: I wanted to overcome my fears of heights, exposure, things that craw, and fly. Also I wanted to get in better shape and experience the great outdoors.
Date Completed: 8/30/2018
Toughest Peak: Bridge Mtn. and Charleston Peak.
Favorite Hike: That is very hard for me to answer because each hike gave me a great experience, even the tough ones. I like all of them.
How Did I Feel When Done: I has mixed feelings of excitement, accomplishment, and happiness. It was the biggest physical challenge I ever experienced. I now feel a lot more confident, my fitness level is at its best, I feel much stronger and I now learned how to control my fears.
Advice for New Hikers: Listen to the leaders, never hike ahead of them and don't think you know more than they do. No matters how many hikes you have done, leaders can help you reach the peaks and make the hikes easier and safer for you if you listen to them.
