Laddawan McQuade
Bio: My name Laddawan McQuade. Thailand is my first home. I came to the USA with my family! My husband is the climber so most of the time he’s showed me a lot of beautiful National parks. That’s made me love and want to see more and yes we both loved outdoors activities. We loved climbing and hiking! Specially me, hiking is one of my favorite things. 😊
“Nature is my special medicine, it’s my best medicine! it’s heal everything, it’s mean everything for me.“
Age: 35
Why did you joined: I have to go back in time where back then I met Erika C. Aloha.I knew her since 2016! She first told me she was joining a hiking group called the 52 Peak Club so I got interested but back then I don’t think I’m ready for that yet. After the pandemic hit ( Covid-19’) I feel like I got bored with just climbing or hiking by myself. Sometimes it’s boring, plus no work also I need to talk and meet friends and I want to get out from the house. This is why I joined the club! And yes, I can’t thank Erika enough for telling and sharing about the 52 Peak Club with me. This club is more like my second home , my family, my brother, my sister, and my friends. You all are the best! I’m thankful that I have joined this club , thankful that I got to meet and spend time hiking with you all . It was a fun and great memories ever for me. Thanks to you all again.
Date Completed all 52 Peaks: July 16, 2022

How did you feel once you became a 53er: I’m so happy and thankful that I’m able to finish the deck and became a 53er! With all those times that I did an easy or hard hike that I have done! Every feeling, emotional, fear, tired, fun and with all those time are the best feeling for me.
Advice for new hikers: I know a lot of people out there who love outdoor activities like me. If you are one of those who like to challenge yourself, who likes to feel great after the hike, and want to become the 53er like me, join the club .You will see the difference from regular hikes and change to the fantastic hikes with an awesome view that you not see on a regular trail. You’ll see more and you’ll know what I mean!
