On December 10, 2017, Allison McNickle became the 142nd person to climb all 52 Peaks with the 52 Peak Club. She had to climb over 120,000 feet and hike 300 miles to accomplish this feat.

Allison is not a stranger to accomplishment. She is a trauma surgeon at UMC in Las Vegas, NV. Though busy as you can imagine she became a 53er (hiker who has climbed all 52 Peaks) in a little over one year.

Allison is a native of Chicago and has been active her entire life, rowing competitively in college and more recently cycling and hiking.

Her favorite peaks are Bridge Mountain, Rainbow Peak and Mount Wilson, all in Red Rock Canyon, which is just 20 miles west of Las Vegas, NV.

Upon becoming a 53er she said, "
It was a great accomplishment and a memorable day.  I was proud to finish the deck in ~14 months which was my goal when I started.  I am excited to re-hike my favorites peaks and try new routes that I didn't experience previously."

The 52 Peak Club motivates hikers to conquer their fears and gain self confidence by hiking the best peaks around Las Vegas,NV.
