​John Wayne Meteer  
​(June 19, 1967 - June 25, 2013)

 

John loved hiking and sharing his love of the great outdoors with others. John passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack at the young age of 46 years.  After John's passing, Cynthia Bodnar joined the 52 Peak Club to finish the challenge that John started. Cynthia completed 42 peaks on John’s behalf.  John became a 53er on Bridge Point, April 11, 2015, posthumous.
