FEBRUARY 2026 UPDATE
Founder’s & Explorer’s Deck – Original Edition Physical Card Retirement
The Original (First Edition) physical cards for both the Founder’s Deck and Explorer’s Deck will be retired in October 2026. This retirement applies specifically to the original printed First Edition poker card design.
After that date:

After that date:
- Newly issued physical cards will reflect the updated design.
- The Original First Edition printed card style will no longer be produced.
- The deck structure, hikes, and peaks will remain unchanged. Only the physical card design is transitioning.
Card Redesign & Trademark Integration

- The 52 Peak Club name and logo are now registered trademarks.
- All newly printed cards will include the official logo integrated into the face of each card.
- The redesign ensures long-term brand protection and visual consistency across all decks.
Pre-Pay Option Now Available
To assist members who want to secure a matching First Edition deck, a credit card pre-pay option is now available.
Previously, most remaining deck balances were handled in person. Members may now pre-pay their remaining deck balance online.
Pre-pay links are available here. Pre-paying ensures your remaining First Edition physical cards are secured prior to the October 2026 transition.
App Transition
Development of the 52 Peak Club app is underway and currently in early testing phases. The existing Card Tracker will be retired as the club transitions fully to the new app platform.

- Historical entries from previously completed decks will not be migrated into the app.
- You will still earn a physical card at the peak for group hikes.
