Renee Boueri

Bio: My name is Renee Boueri, moved from Lebanon to this great country on May 5th 1998, a year later I got hired at the Bellagio. I worked there for 14 years. I have two brothers who live here as well. I live in Henderson, since 2007 when I got my citizenship and bought my first house.

Age: 51

Why did you join the 52 Peak Club: Nature its my compassion and everything to do with outdoors from mountains to oceans. I got introduce to the 52 Peak Club by John Wayne bless his soul. My first card was on Fortification Hill, it was so exciting and challenging for me. I had this doubt  and wonder in my mind if I will be able to do it or not, meantime I kept going and hiking even though they're tough hikes for me. I didn't quit and like I always say the 52 Peak Club its a complete package: you get fit, healthy, and make friends.

Date Completed all 52 Peaks: Aug 18, 2014

Toughest Peak: Holiday was a bit for me, Macks North the most memorable one. Even with the toughness of it , they're fun and enjoyable.

Favorite Hike: Global Peak, Cockscomb and Bridge Mtn .

How did you feel once you became a 53er:  Big relief. It feels really awesome and fulfilling and I have a boost of confidence achieving my goal. It was the best gift to myself.

Advice for new hikers:  Don't ever give up. Start each hike to finish it.To really be more fun work on your fitness level, because it matters a lot for the leaders and the group, for time and safety. Trust me its very rewarding. Best of success to all of you.
