Bio: I am from Boise Idaho where I raised two amazing boys.  I have been blessed with a grandchild. 
In 2007 I got married moved to Henderson, and started another chapter of my life.  I retired in
march 2020 when covid hit.  I love the outdoors and I enjoy hiking, golf, and skiing.

Age: 59

Why did you joined: I enjoy hiking but had never even thought about scrambling.  My girlfriend was always posting
amazing pictures of her adventures.  I felt that I should give it a try - It’s awesome
I get to meet new people and be out in nature – loving it

Toughest Peak: Holiday Peak

Favorite Hike:  White Pinnacle and Mescalito

How did you feel once you became a 53er:  I am so proud of myself.   I feel like I achieved something that many
people only dream of doing.   I have improved on my skills and have so much more confidence in my
abilities.


Advice for new hikers: start with the lower cards and always remember that momentum is your friend.
